A clinical-turned-Holistic Esthetician, Rebecca first discovered holistic esthetics through several serendipitous encounters in the summer of 2016. Just 6 months later, while attending the first Laurel Educational Retreat, Rebecca came to be fascinated with, all things Holistic Skin Care. On day three of the four day retreat, Rebecca experienced a “quantum moment”, defined as a moment in time that takes one by surprise, but is intuitively understood to the person as life-altering. In this moment, Rebecca knew that she had found her soul-gift – her vehicle for being a contribution to herself and to the world. And so began the evolution that has culminated in the creation of Bloom.
Since Mid-January, 2017, Rebecca has experienced a personal and professional transformation that is awe-inspiring. Through the utilization of plant-based beauty practices, energy work, and a new-found passion for lavishing herself with impeccable self-care, Rebecca has effortlessly lost 65 lbs, healed her own rosacea, and found sobriety. She continues to evolve through an insatiable hunger for knowledge, self-awareness, expansion, and contribution.
In founding Bloom Healing Botanical Spa, Rebecca aims to assist others in reclaiming their own natural state of health and beauty. Because Rebecca has personally experienced the same symptoms and ailments suffered by many, she is able to find a way of explaining and implementing small shifts that create massive change.

Caity Johnson, Certified Massage Therapist
Originally from New York, Caity, has been practicing body work in the Bay Area since 2014. Her love of deep body work stems from a fascination with movement and body mechanics, and has been enhanced by further study of human potential at the Esalen Institute, the Flow Genome Project, and with Revolution in Motion training. She holds an MFA in Dance Performance, Pedagogy and Choreography from Smith College. Caity’s approach to myotherapy integrates deep tissue structural bodywork with the flowing, profoundly relaxing techniques of Esalen® Massage. The integration of these healing modalities, along with traditional Swedish massage and Trigger Point Therapy, allows her to access the body’s deeper soft tissue layers, unbinding habitually compressed areas of tension and returning fluid exchange and energy flow. Chronic tension patterns in the body release by softening and re-organizing, replenishing living tissues with blood, lymph and energy. With full-hearted presence and attention, Caity aims to bring her clients to a state of deep nervous-system relaxation, which supports the natural ability of body and mind to self-heal.
“I’m thrilled to join the healers at the beautiful Bloom Botanical Healing Spa, bringing the powerful medicine of touch and presence to Oakland.”
